In his "I Have a Dream" speech, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said:
"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in anation where they will not be judged by the color of theirskin, but by the content of their character."
Character is defined as the essence of a
person and determines a person’s judgment,
or what a person will do when no one is looking. Dr. King’s admonishment is relevant during this 2008 election, and black Americans should evaluate the candidates based on competence to be our Commander in Chief, not skin color.
~~~ We need the right president, not just a black president.
