Your ancestors were the Conquistadores. Now your friends are the the Reconquistas. My ancestors didn't arrive until the late 1800s when the conquering was all done. I guess that means I can stay but you have to go. Ha!
Actually Ulty, my great grandfather was born here, my grandfather was born here, my Dad was born here and so was I.
We are not "re" anything, just Natives. Your folks came much, much later.
